We're home from Ohio! We had such a great time, the picture below is kind of how things went with Willa - her cousins Dylan and Claire alternately loving/mauling her. It took her some time to warm up to them between them taking away toys/shoving toys at her, rough hugs, and raspberries they liked to give her, but she definitely liked the excitement and towards the end of the trip she started smiling instead of cowering in fear whenever she saw them.
Highlights of the trip include:
-Watching The Bachelorette, HGTV, and basically all TLC shows with Melinda and Shannon (lots of Duggars, I didn't know I was Pregnant, etc.).
- Takeout Skyline Chili, also the ability to buy three cans of Skyline Chili at Meijer and bring it home to Ryan. You can buy it three-way, four-way, or with the noodles included. For the non-Ohioans reading this blog (mostly everyone) Skyline Chili is a restaurant chain that serves Cincinnati Chili - which is more like a spicy type of spaghetti. It's served over noodles and you can order it plain (three-way), with beans (four-way), or with beans and onions (five-way), then topped with lots of cheese.

ReplyDeleteSometimes I get a craving for Skyline Chili . . . and I've only ever had it a few times. Mmmmm. Maybe if you start Willa on it, solid foods would go a little smoother (and exit a little smoother too - ha, ha).
ReplyDeleteKatie, you've had Skyline Chili? That's very impressive! Yes, I have a feeling that if I started Willa on the four-way (with beans) Skyline Chili then things would be exiting very fast!
