Young's Jersey Dairy: We tried to get little Young's shirts for the kiddos, but they were all out. I talked to the clerk and she gave me some roundabout story about the shipment being late. Whatever, I don't know why but it seems like they have taken to rationing Young's Jersey Dairy shirts. It's a tradition to have a Young's Jersey Dairy shirt, I think maybe two years ago we were in Ohio with some of Ryan's siblings and we all had Young's shirts to wear; we need to get Willa one to match.
So smiley as we feed the goats! Enlarge the photo and you can see her terrific grin.
Grandma Daniels, Dylan and Claire.
Dylan tried on Ryan's old Halloween costume. His mom sewed this muscle shirt for him, can you believe that? From old family photos, I can tell that Ryan was a very convincing Rambo in this shirt.
Trying to get a photo of Dylan as King of the Jungle in the Garden of Eden bedroom.
The Shanster and Willa! Willa loved Aunt Shannon and would always (except in this photo) give her big smiles. She appreciates all the clothes and baby things that Shannon passed down. Willa is the best-dressed baby in Texas, that's for sure.
Near-dead tomato plant that didn't get watered while I was gone (I forgot to tell Ryan about it).
I don't have many photos, but it was a great trip. The one thing that could have made it better was to have Ryan there. I felt guilty being able to go visit his home when it has been so long since he has been there. I went running in the morning and wished he could have been there to run on his favorite trails and just enjoy being home. I can't wait to go back, and next time I'll make sure it's all three of us!
